Comm: The City of Warfang

It was a glorious sight in the afternoon sun. The glimmering city of Warfang, the crown jewel of Aslore. Towers, parks, and buildings stretched as far as the eye could see. The Temples hovered peacefully far above the ground, next to the awe that was the Spire.

This is what a unified world could achieve. And we have to dragons to thank for that.

The moles have certainly been busy.

This is the fourth and final commission from (for this set, at least). It's what I think Warfang could look like 30 years in the future. Basically, I imagined what a city would look like when you fuse the techno-magic of the original Spyro games with the fantasy setting and size of the Legend of Spyro.

It's much, much larger it was during the war. Weeks after Malefor was defeated, there was a sudden, massive influx of survivors from all around the world. The other dragon kingdoms had been all but destroyed, leaving Warfang as the last major city on Aslore.

After many lengthy discussions, the leaders of Warfang decided to expand the city to accommodate everyone. This expansion went on in all directions, from the Valley of Avalar in the West to the Burned Lands up north.

Thanks to combinations of magic and technology, buildings quickly sprung up all around the newly-enlarged city. Towers could float off the ground indefinitely, and the transition from wood and stone to enchanted metals and glass began in earnest.

The city has been divided into three major sections: 
    The Outskirts, which is mostly composed of forest, plains, lakes, and valleys.
    The Outer City, which houses most of the population. Most of the markets and ports are here.
    The Inner City, which houses the Temples, the Academy, the King's Tower, and most of the administration of Warfang.

If you couldn't tell, much of my inspiration came from the city in Attack on Titan.
